Dr. Rina Tan Chua, was born and raised in Manila, Philippines. She holds a pre-medical degree in Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and earned her medical degree from the prestigious University of Santo Tomas, one of the top medical universities in the Philippines.

Dr. Rina embarked on a diverse and fulfilling medical career in healthcare, driven by her commitment to improving patient well-being. She initially gained experience as a general practitioner in the Philippines, where she honed her clinical skills, then expanded her expertise as a Transplant Coordinator in Singapore, managing complex transplant cases and coordinating patient care.

With a deep passion for skincare, Dr. Rina then pursued her career as an Aesthetic Physician in both the Philippines and Singapore, where she specialized in enhancing patients' aesthetic outcomes while maintaining a strong focus on their overall health and wellness. After gathering extensive experience across multiple countries she made the move to Toronto, Canada, where she continues her commitment to patient care and innovative treatments in the dermatological field.

With years of experience combined with her extensive medical background, Dr. Rina gained a deep understanding of both the science and artistry behind skincare. It was through this understanding Dr. Rina was inspired to establish Rina Aesthetics, a clinic committed to offering safe and effective aesthetic services that reflect her passion for empowering clients to look and feel their best, and R Skin, a skincare line that is highly effective, backed by clinical research, and targets a wide range of skin concerns for patients of all skin types.
